Nissan: Haslam named new Product Planning leader for Nissan North America
NASHVILLE, TENN. – Nissan North America (NNA) is promoting Jared Haslam to the role of vice president, Product Planning, effective Nov. 1, 2018. Haslam is currently director, Advanced Planning, NNA.
“Jared’s extensive experience both in the U.S. and within Nissan’s global organization makes him an ideal fit to lead our product planning team,” said Dan Mohnke, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing and Operations, Nissan Division U.S. “His leadership will play a critical role as Nissan invests to launch new or redesigned models representing 70 percent of our annual sales volume by 2020.”
Haslam joined NNA in 2007, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility in the product planning, marketing and manufacturing functions. From 2014-2016, he worked in key global product planning positions focused on Nissan’s zero-emission vehicle programs, based in Japan. He returned to NNA in 2016 as director, Product Planning – Brand Integration before taking his current role in May 2018.
Haslam replaces Michael Bunce, who was recently named to the new role of Nissan division vice president and Alliance global director, Mobility Services, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.
